RE: Filtrages pour ( quelques ) pavillons
From an interview given by Mr. Kinoshita to "Studio Sound" in 1987:
"the HF horn has a 270º phase difference at the cut-off frequency" (see attachment, page 2, second column).
270º = 6 x 45º = 6th order acoustic high-pass.
Once more, this is true for many hypex horns with a cut-off of approx. 300Hz (which also happens to be roughly the same internal resonance frequency of may traditional compression drivers such as the JBL 244x and TAD 400x).
