"The Mastering Labs crossover was designed originally for the 604E which was nominally 16 ohms. By the time Audio Marketing got the license and started manufacturing Big Reds the 604E was replaced by the 6048G... so they ordered 16 ohm versions of 604G and later K's and put a sticker on the back calling them 604E2's."
