VOTT horns, Altec asylum etc
Hi all, I am from London. I have been playing with the search function on the forum and translate, but thought I would jump in with my first post.
I have long since been a horn lover, and have previously visited Marcel, Dan Bellity, and Karel who I think all are on Melaudia, to listen to their horn system, among others. I am also fascinated by VOTTs and having heard Altec VOTTS (two 515s per speaker), I recently visited Dominique Tanguy from this forum to hear his Yamaha VOTT.
I am interested in learning from various members who have VOTTs by listening to theirs with different amplification and room sizes. I am also open to any non Altec VOTT such as JBL, for example, or having Vitavox or something else for the highs. I haven't heard such systems. I will soon by listening to an A5 on Saturday.
Also, the ones I have heard have had original drivers, and it would also be good to listen to GPA.
In terms of preference, I mostly listen to classical (90%, and attend roughly 50 concerts a year in London), followed by rock (my username is based on John Bonham).
