Bonjour

Dear all,

thank you very much for linking my homepage. Unfortunately, my French skill dates back to early school and therefore I will answer in English. It is an honour to be here.

My interest regarding horns awaked when I attended the HE fair in Munich where Silbatone presented their WE12a/WE13a combo. Still the top of the food chain ;-)

My first waveguide in my Wolf von Langa speakers was replaced by a Tractrix horn. This was a step in the right direction but I got sometimes nerved by the slightly beamy behaviour. At this time I planned to extend my Excel VBA skills and begun to play around with my very first horn calculators.

As my source code is quite flexible to use different horn functions someday there was the challenge to deal with JMLC horns and add my features like stretching or stereographic projection. i these days where in many forums directivity is everything and loading unimportant I do not agree and think that a proper horn need to have an excellent loading characteristic. One way to get better directivity is my PETF method.

All the rest can be read on my homepage https://sphericalhorns.net

A few days ago i changed the page theme and the photos were made on Helgoland.

When i have some spare time I will continue to write new articles as there are some other work that is still ready.

best regards!
Bernd
Hi Bernd

Thank you so much for posting here, keep us informed of your work. As you may know jmlc was almost at home in Melaudia forum.

Hi,

I am pleased to present my new article which deals with PETF applied to JMLC horns:

Hello,

I would like to point some readers attention to my new article series about ALO William Neile Horns. imo products that are currently missing from the market which have the best possible acoustic loading and directivity control combined.

https://sphericalhorns.net/2022/06/04/ac...ns-part-1/

There are plans to make some prototypes.
Hi,

some serious progress for a new class of horns with full loading and natural dispersion directivity control:

Hi drba you have made huge progress recently, congratulations

Bonjour
Non seulement le résultat à l'imprimante 3D est magnifique mais la directivité / fréquence verticale comme horizontale est royale. Merci et bienvenue. Freundlische Grüße. AleX
